Europe

Greetings friends!

This page is dedicated to our 2014 European trip. As a couple, we were accepted to the International Convention in Athens, Greece. Having been my first time to Europe, Terahl felt it was necessary to take advantage of the opportunity. So we agreed to stay a total of 30 days. Our flight from Chicago, Illinois landed us in Frankfurt, Germany and then our return flight home departed from Paris, France. While in Europe, we had a Eurail (http://www.eurail.com/) pass that allowed us to travel virtually anywhere in Europe. So off we were with our backpacks (yes, backpacks… don’t ask me how I survived on one bag for 30 days) to explore the beauty of the European culture. In total, we visited 9 different countries: Czech Republic, Belgium, Germany, Slovakia, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and France. I have separated these countries into different tabs to make the navigation of the photos a little easier. Also, to those who we met at the International Convention, please visit our ‘Greece’ tab and leave us a comment! We are constantly reflecting on the wonderful memories we made with all of our brothers and sisters, and we will never forget the love and hospitality that was shown to us. This trip not only helped unite us as a couple, but really opened our eyes to the beauty of Jehovah’s organization. We are so grateful to be a part of a worldwide brotherhood that despite language barriers, are still able to show love. We are looking forward to visiting Europe again in the future. If you yourself have ever been to Europe, please leave us a comment below as to where you visited and some of the highlights you experienced. We are always looking for our next destination!
